Disaster Relief Contributions Accepted and Grants for Organizations Available
An emergency response fund has been established at the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine in response to the Monday, March 6 devastating tornado. Contributions to the Emergency Response Fund are currently being accepted. All donations to the Emergency Response Fund will be used only for Muscatine County disaster relief. The fund is intended to provide grants to nonprofit organizations serving those affected by the disaster. Those nonprofits directly affected by the tornado may also apply.
To contribute, donors can make a tax-deductible contribution by mailing a check to the Community Foundation at 208 West Second Street, Suite 213, Muscatine. Please make checks payable to the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine with Emergency Response Fund in the memo. Credit card donations are accepted by phone or online by clicking here
Nonprofit organizations wishing to apply for a grant may do so using the following application. Funds available are limited to contributions received.
